As described by Judith Rodin, “Jane Jacob was…opinionated, intelligent, outspoken, and guided by her conviction that pursuing equity and fairness in urban planning was essential for cities to remain vital and thrive.” That’s right! Although her thinking originated in the 50’s and 60’s these concepts remain relevant and essential to planning today.
